Conference Chair’s Message

Destanul Aulia, PhD.

Climate change for Indonesia and other tropical and subtropical coountries has led to the necessity to address the outbreak of tropical diseases. At this time, the role of Public Health is never been more important to overcome this situation. The current concentration on NCD disease should br devided over the tropical disease. This is becouse at some point tropical disease. If its not manage cautiosly, will become an epidemic that drain all health budget. Thus through this first PHICo, it is expected to be produced or at least inspire all the policy makers to make critical strategy through public health efforts to educate, change behaviors and empowers people to create a healthy  individual and environment to fight tropical diseases. It is also hoped that through this first PHICo can be produced health financing strategy with universal coverage to address these tropical diseases.
